Trying new techniques is fun, this is one of the pages where I used Big Brush as watercolour on the background. I first stamped Tim Holtz’s blueprint cling stamp on the background, just slightly, then used Big Brush to add colour to the stamped images.
Of course, if you are using Distress Oxide, you can do it directly with the ink.
After I finished the background, I simply added a few washi tape, the photos, and stickers to finalise this double-page.
“Early celebrate for my friend’s birthday, so I suggested going out for dinner tonight. She asked me what I like to eat, western or Chinese? For me, I don’t care what to eat because I seldom go out for dinner, I would be so happy if someone liked to bring me along with them. Tonight we chose to have Vietnam cuisine, my first choice must be Vermicelli, I saw soft crab on the menu, oh, that it is, please give me one, thanks!”
