Just for You Gift Card Holder #G45BrandAmbassador

A gift card is always a good choice as a present, how about making a unique holder with your words like a card? This time I made four gift card holders using the Graphic 45 Couture Deluxe Collector’s Edition and the Come One Come All Collection Pack, as well as the Graphic 45 Large Tag Dies.

This is a super fun way to use metal dies to make a folded card in a tag shape, here is the how-to:

1. Cut 9″(W) x 8″(H) paper and fold it in half
2. Align the folding side of the paper just inside the left edge of the dies and go through the machine
3. Then you have your folded card in a tag shape, and ready for decoration.

To hold the gift card, I die-cut a tag from the Graphic 45 Tag, Pocket & Butterfly Dies Set and adhered it inside the card holder, remember you have to use glue instead of double-sided tape, otherwise the gift card will be stuck inside the pocket.

This gift card holder is perfect if you need to make quite a few for an occasion, and is also perfect for all kinds of paper collections like Christmas or Thanksgiving. I did some fussy cuts for the decorations, but if you don’t have enough time, just simply use the stickers or die-cut assortments.

I used the Large Tag Dies to make this gift card holder, but the Graphic 45 ATC Tag, Regular Tag, Square Tag or even the Tag I used for holding the gift card here are also good choices for various usage.

On this card holder series, I used the Sentiment Stamps from Graphic 45 as well, the set is super cool and includes more than ten sentiments that I can use on many occasions, sentiments like “Big Day”, “For my friend” and “Congratulations” are all great to be used all year long.

  1. Fabulous idea and inspiration!! I have to dig my G45 dies out once and awhile since I am constantly using the papers for cards, this was great inspiration for my future ones!
