This is the second page where I used the grid spacing method, which approximately divides the page into six sections, this may not be the best layout, but I’m still finding the best grid spacing for my photo diary page.
The last time I talked about drawing on my iPhone app Tayasui Sketches, I’m dying to have an Apple pencil to do this, but it is quite expensive as a starter, I don’t know if I can keep this passion for a long-term, so may not be a good investment at the moment.
Then I tried to search for something similar for me to practice, but most of the precision pens are for iPad, not iPhones, even though I searched YouTube for some unboxing experimental video, still couldn’t find a suitable one, for some reason, their price is still a bit high for me to try anyway.
Okay then, I tried my luck on TaoBao and found quite a few they said is good for iPhone. I talked with their customer services but unluckily most of them are not actually support, until the last one, the pen is supporting both iPad and iPhone, and most other electrical devices, sounds super cool, right? Then I asked and made sure that it can be used on “my” iPhone (I’m still using 8plus), and they said yes, I felt so happy that I finally found it and not expensive for me to do drawing practice, then I ordered it and waiting for delivery.
When I opened the box, I found these which surprised me:

The pen came in good condition, together with a faux leather pen case and a halfway hand-grove for iPad drawing, which prevents unnecessary touch of my hands on the screen. This is just amazing, I got all these while I was still thinking about whether I need such a grove for iPad drawing.
I couldn’t wait to start playing with this pen on my iPhone, it works, although I need some more practice, it’s pretty good overall. My girl is now using this pen for her iPad homework also, I think it is just worth it.
Here is the sketch for today:
