Magic Steampunk Alley #G45BrandAmbassador

It seems that Halloween is a festival for fun nowadays, the celebrations are playful, and people enjoy cosplay.

So do I, I made this Magic Steampunk Alley for fun!

This is a project featuring Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells Deluxe Collector’s Edition, I love the playful patterns, the vintage blue and the weird faces very much.

You think these are toy houses? No, I want to say this is an alley, the idea comes from my fave series of films – Harry Potter, I’m a fans, ha!

Other than play and fun, I also made two drawers for this alley, I want to use them as trays to put my tools and accessories.

I used the 4×6 cards as the front of the drawers, they look like spellbooks, plus the Graphic 45 Metal Handle Sets, they’re so cool!

I have four blocks all with different kinds of windows, the video tutorial below includes only the two with round windows, I didn’t record the other two because you can make many other styles, and the round one is quite a difficult one, so if you have any questions about making different styles of windows, leave a comment and let me know.

Inside the blocks, other than decorating with papers, stickers, chipboard and fuzzy cuts, can you see what’s there? Yes, a tiny pack of Steampunk Spells! Yeah!!! Remember, don’t hesitate to use all things from your paper pack.

One more secret is the accordion mini album, just simply cut the Spells Cards and connect them together, tie it with Graphic 45 Photogenic Black Trim, you can add more decoration, or put photos inside to become a real mini album.

It’s a very fun progress for me to search from the papers of what to fuzzy cuts, what to put where and how to match, I love this progress, it seems like a hide and seek game, please check below the photo gallery for more photos with details.

I believe that there are tons of tutorials for making beautiful Halloween houses, but this is a simple one which you can make it again and again, you can make more blocks to enlarge the alley into a village, and you can use other paper packs like Graphic 45 Charmed. Remember to keep the template and subscribe to my blog and Youtube, for more ideas on how to use this idea for future projects.

In this video tutorial, only the steps for making blocks with round windows are shown:
